The Building Division offers licensed contractors the ability to apply for minor building permits through the City's Citizen Access portal. Currently the following permit types are offered:
The online process allows licensed contractors to submit permit applications and pay fees online using their established Trust Account 7/24/365. A permit will be issued to the Contractor through the online process once payment is made. The contractor will then need to download the generated online permit using their Public User account to post in the field during inspections.
Licensed contractors interested in utilizing the Online Citizen Access Portal must review, sign and date, and submit the following information to a Building Permit Technician so the appropriate Public User Account can be created for the contractor:
Note that the Credit Card Authorization Form is only needed if initial deposit to trust account will be by way of Credit Card, and Contractor's Declaration is required to be uploaded for each permit per terms and conditions of use of online services.
