Announcement of an Opening on Concord’s Planning Commission
The Concord City Council is conducting a recruitment to fill an unscheduled vacancy on the Concord Planning Commission for a term ending February 28, 2009. The vacancy was created by the recent appointment of Guy Bjerke to the Concord City Council.
Mr. Bjerke had served on the Concord Planning Commission since 2001 and chaired the commission for two years.
Applications may be obtained at the City Management offices located at 1950 Parkside Drive, or by calling (925)671-3495. Application forms are also available on the City’s Web site at www.cityofconcord.org/citygov/bc/plc-infopacket.htm. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2007.
