Skyhawks programs teach life skills through athletics

Teamwork, winning and losing, and sportsmanship are critical life lessons for young athletes.  Skyhawks is a nationwide organization whose goal is to teach children and young adults life skills through athletics.

Skyhawks sports programs are coming soon to Concord. These programs are available for ages 4 to 14.  Programs will run from June 16 to August 1 and include the following sessions: basketball, soccer, lacrosse, flag football/swimming combination camp and Mini-Hawk (soccer, baseball, basketball). Each participant enrolled in a Skyhawks program receives a t-shirt and a sport-specific ball.

Skyhawks has been a recognized name in delivering quality sports programs for children and young adults for over 25 years. Skyhawks believes that every child should experience the joy and benefits of athletics.  All Skyhawks programs are focused on developing and building the skills and confidence of young athletes in a fun and safe environment.

Parents and athletes can find more information or register for upcoming programs at www.skyhawks.com.  For more information call the Concord Community and Recreation Services office at (925) 671-3404 or visit www.ConcordReg.org.
