Guitar class offered for busy adults

Concord Community and Recreation Services will offer Frank Kruzic's popular "Just Once Guitar for Busy Adults" class on Monday, March 22, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Road. The class is designed for busy adults who want to play the guitar but do not have the time or money for weekly lessons.

Participants in this one-time, two-and-a-half hour class will learn to play chords and be able to strum favorite songs right away. The class includes an easy to understand instruction book and DVD so students can keep practicing at home. The instructor discusses some of the common mistakes people make and the hurdles that prevent them from learning the guitar.

The class is designed for the absolute beginner and the emphasis is on fun, not technical perfection. Participants must bring their own acoustic guitar to the class.

For more information or to register for the class, visit www.concordreg.org or call Concord Community and Recreation Services at (925) 671-3404.
