Two-day teen babysitting class offered

Teens interested in learning how to take care of babies and younger children are invited to sign up for the City of Concord's Teen Babysitter class, offered Nov. 23 and 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Willow Pass Community Center, 2748 East Olivera Rd.

In this two-day class, teens will learn to set up babysitting jobs like a real business. They will practice baby care using dolls, and learn to diaper, bathe and dress infants. The class also covers what to do in an emergency and includes infant and child CPR instruction. Upon completion, participants earn a CPR card from the American Heart Association and a babysitter's certificate from The HealthSource at KidSake that can be shown to potential employers.

The course number is 98599. To register, visit www.ConcordReg.org or call (925) 671-3404 for more information.
