Class A Office Project Strengthens City's Position as Premier Business Destination

The Metroplex Office Centre is a 460,000 square foot Class-A office project consisting of two ten-store towers. It is strategically located on a five-acre parcel at the northeast corner of Willow Pass Road and Waterworld Parkway. This project is being developed by Sierra Pacific Properties, a local company.

The first tower, and 1,700 space parking garage, was completed in the summer of 2003. Tenants of the first tower include Wells Fargo Mortgage, Fremont Investment & Loan, Mutual of Omaha, Cyber, SCME Mortgage Bankers, Countrywide Home Loans, University of Phoenix and several professional service businesses. The initiation of construction of the second 230,000 square foot tower is unknown at this time, and is largely dependent upon the future strength of the regional economy.
