Concord Jewelers

This business received an award for their longevity in the City of Concord. 

Concord Jewelers opened in 1907 on Main Street, (which then became Salvio Street), and there has been a jewelry store in the downtown ever since.  In 1946, when the current building at 2022 Salvio Street was constructed, the business re-opened as Tierney’s Jewelers.  In the 1960’s the business name changed back again to Concord Jewelers, which it remains today.  The Ricco family has owned and operated this downtown jewelry store and repair shop since 1986.  Ernest Ricco runs the business with his son Paul and daughter Shannon, and says that the secret to his success as a jeweler is making every customer feel like family. 

Fleury’s Floor Covering

This business received an award for their longevity in the community. 

Fleury’s Floor Covering has been doing business in Concord for 34 years.  Al Fleury started the business with his first retail store at 2708 Willow Pass Road.  The business moved to 1741 Clayton Road and has been there for the past 28 years.  Al and Kimberlee Fleury work very hard to provide excellent customer service to ensure that their clients come back to the business for all of their carpeting, hardwood flooring and tile needs.  Mr. Fleury continues to surprise his customers by working on every job himself, checking to make sure no detail is missed, and following up with them after the work is completed.  The Fleury family lives in Concord, works in Concord and is committed to supporting other local businesses in the community. 

The City of Concord appreciates these businesses and their commitment to the community.
