Boards & Commissions Application Process


Boards, Commissions and Committees act in an advisory capacity to the City Council. Members of these volunteer bodies increase the level of citizen participation in a number of specialized areas. Except as stated, all members must be residents of Concord and most serve without compensation.

Board and Commission Appointments

Openings are posted and announced by the City Council and appointments are made by the City Council. Applications for membership on Boards, Commissions and Committees are accepted at any time.

County Committee Appointments

Citizen representatives are appointed to serve on the following County Committees by the City Council. Applications may be submitted to the City Clerk at any time.
