Life Insurance (City pays total)
The level of benefit is based on 2 x annual salary up to $400,000 maximum.
The cost of the premium is $.17 per $1,000 of coverage.
Optional participation programs for 401(k) and 457 plans through ICMA Retirement Corporation. City does not contribute.
12 days per year. No limit to accrual. May be cashed out at retirement only on a 4:1 ratio basis (a maximum of 800 hours can be converted to 200 hours of cash), or used to extend service credit under the CalPERS system, or a combination thereof.
11 days per year, plus an additional 8 hours of vacation per year awarded on September 9.
Sworn Police Officers and Sergeants only: Holidays calculated as 10 hours (instead of 8 hours).
Sworn Police Officers and Sergeants, and Sworn Police Management: Christmas Eve added as a holiday effective 12/24/03.
Management: First year 15 workdays, increasing to 27 workdays a year.
Sworn Police Officers and Sergeants only: One additional day (10 hours) credited on January 1 of each year, eff. 1/5/04.
All others: First year 10 workdays, increasing to 22 workdays a year.
