Community Alert
The Concord Police Department would like to remind all community members to be alert for holiday scam artists, including individuals who solicit sales at your home or business.
- Door-to-door vendors are licensed in Concord and are issued a Police Department Solicitor ID card that shows the vendors name and explains how and when they can are licensed to make door-to-door sales.
- Vendors are allowed to work between 9 a. m. and 7 p.m.
- Vendors are prohibited from visiting homes and businesses that have a "No Solicitor" sign posted.
- Any person making door-to-door sales must display their Solicitor ID card, so ask to see it if you have any doubts and it's not visible.
Please call the Concord Police Department – 671-3333 to reportsuspicious persons or individuals including those vending without the Solicitor ID card.
