Concord Pre-School Information

 

Our preschool program is a positive first school experience for the young child. We offer programs for two, three and four year olds. Throughout these early years the children will:

  • Gain confidence and self-esteem
  • Develop listening skills
  • Take turns and follow directions
  • Develop social skills
  • Learn academics through play

By the time they graduate, they will be ready for Kindergarten and be well on their way - with many fond memories of preschool.

The school-year program runs from September through May.

Preschool Requirements

  • 2 year olds must be 2 by September 1
  • 3 year olds must be 3 by December 1
  • 4 year olds must be 4 by December 1
  • 3 and 4 year olds must be toilet trained.

Fees

Nonrefundable Processing Fee $35
Monthly Fee:

  • 2-day classes $115/month Concord residents $120/month nonresidents
  • 3-day classes $175/month Concord residents $180/month nonresidents
  • Parents are asked to provide snack for the whole class once a month

Preschool Instructor Biographies

Gina Murdock

Gina has been a teacher for over ten years. She offers a structured program that prepares your child for Kindergarten. They work on fine motor skills through writing activities and other hands on projects. Her broad curriculum covers the alphabet, numbers, music, science, cooking, drama and more.

Tiffany Severa

The three year old class will encourage the children to explore and create new things. The emphasis will be on a variety of play activities to help develop the children's self confidence, social skills, language development and academics through play. The classroom will have a positive atmosphere where the children can meet new friends and will feel safe and secure away from home.

Beth Severa

Beth has been teaching two year olds for the past 12 years. Her philosophy is for each child to have an opportunity to explore, learn and play in a safe environment. Beth brings to this class a positive experience for your child with an emphasis on sharing, socializing and developing confidence away from home. Potty training is also encouraged.

Araceli Smith

Araceli works with children in the 3 and 4 year old programs. In her class, children learn through a variety of hands-on and interactive lessons along with a few educational field trips. She encourages a child's love of learning by making learning fun! The curriculum covers the alphabet, numbers, music, science and more. In her class, children have the opportunity to learn about the world around them and gain the skills necessary to become successful in school.

Sean (Michelle) Berry

Sean has been teaching preschool for over 20 years in Concord. In her classroom children are encouraged to learn through exploration. Children participate in hands on activities that will enhance and develop their natural love of learning. Curriculum will cover social skills, problem solving, early literacy, numbers, color, shapes, cooking, and music & movement.
