School Year Scholarships
Concord Community & Recreation Services offers partial scholarships for selected youth programs during the school year. Scholarship recipients will pay about ½ of the program fee when registering for the program that they are awarded. Materials fee is not included in the scholarship amount.
After School Enrichment Classes
Grades 1–5
In cooperation with the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, After School Enrichment classes are offered at select elementary schools in Concord (ie. Mountain View, Silverwood, Monte Gardens and Westwood). The After School Enrichment program offers a wide variety of recreation classes for children. Enrichment classes benefit students in many ways including increased self-esteem, new skills and abilities, improved social skills, higher school performance, and encouraging life-long learning. RAP at Pinehollow Middle School
Grades 6–8
The RAP program is an after school program offered from the time school gets out until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Participants enjoy homework help, fun events and activities such as creative crafts, outdoor games, sports, board game challenge, Dance, Dance Revolution and more. Scholarship recipients are limited to 2 RAP semester scholarships or 1 enrichment class per school year.

- Applicant(s) must be a Concord resident.
