Human Resources

Department Mission

The City of Concord’s Human Resources Department has the primary role of supporting the organization by providing human resources-related support services to more than 400 full-time employees, along with many part-time employees, seasonal employees, and volunteers that serve the City. We strive to deliver exceptional customer service and support to the organization by providing responsive service that is both cost-effective and innovative.

One of our primary goals is to attract, develop, motivate, and retain the best-qualified employees, whose knowledge and skills contribute to and sustain the City as a superior organization.

We look forward to every opportunity we have to interact with our customers --both internal and external -- and providing quality customer service to all.
