Planning Division
The Community Development Department’s Planning & Housing Division implements and administers the policy direction of the City Council and the needs of the community with regard to the City’s built environment, including its development and growth. The Planning Division provides the public with information about property regulations and is responsible for developing long-range planning policies and plans, evaluating development projects, implementing housing programs, and assisting with the Concord Reuse Project.
PERMIT CENTER HOURS
Planning & Housing staff are available for general planning and zoning inquiries Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Staff are also available for phone and email inquiries at (925) 671-3152 and zoning@cityofconcord.org. For inquiries on submitting a Planning application, please contact Planning staff to determine if your project requires a Pre-Submittal Meeting and for information on submitting an application online through the Virtual Permit Center.
