Administrative Division
The Concord Police Administrative Division assists in the direction of long term activities for the police department to accomplish its mission and goals.

Investigations Division
The Concord Police Department has four detective units within the Investigations Division – Major Crimes, Financial Crimes, Special Victims, and Violence Suppression – each of which investigates crimes with the goal of presenting cases worthy of prosecution to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office. The City of Concord employs a Crime Analyst who is responsible for researching, compiling, evaluating, and analyzing intelligence and crime information. This information is then forwarded to police personnel as a means of impacting crime and quality of life issues in the city.
