TEMPORARY ENCROACHMENTS FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES
To facilitate outdoor operations such as dining and retail during the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses in the downtown area may request temporary sidewalk, parking, and street encroachments at no cost until March 31, 2022. All temporary encroachment permits will expire June 30, 2022. Contact Permit Center staff at EngrApplications@cityofconcord.org to apply for a permanent sidewalk encroachment.

Encroachment
An Encroachment Permit is issued by the City and obtained by the person, firm, or organization that proposes to do work or encroach upon a public right-of-way of water course.

Flood Zone
Review procedures and guidelines, certification and forms, and more regarding flood zone areas.

Grading
A Grading Permit will be required for all new pools, demolition of existing pool, stockpiling material, and earth removing projects.

Sewer Permits
A Sewer Connection Permit must be issued by the Community Development Department for all sewer connections into the City of Concord Sanitary Sewer System.
