In late 2017, the City Council approved a pilot program to partner with the non-profit Covia to launch Home Match Contra Costa. The Program matches Concord homeowners who are age 55 and older, who would like to share their homes for companionship, extra income, and sometimes even help around the house.
The Program provides a mediated matching service for shared housing to create long-term successful shared living arrangements including:
Home seekers must be over age 18; live, work, or go to school in Contra Costa County; and meet income requirements.
The Program is based in the Consultation Room of the Senior Center, located at 2727 Parkside Circle. Representatives are available Thursdays from 1-5 P.M. and Fridays from 9:15 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. You can contact Program staff at (925) 956-7385 or visit their website for more information.

Evening hours will vary accordingly to scheduled events. Closed on holidays.
