[ARCHIVED] Concord's Official Tree-Lighting and Mayor's Sing-Along

Christmas TSP

Join the City of Concord in welcoming the holiday season on Saturday, December 7 in Todos Santos Plaza with a number of traditional festivities including an official tree-lighting, horse-drawn carriage rides, the Mayor’s sing-along and a special visit from Santa.

Holiday booths open at 3 p.m. for ornament craft making, hot cocoa, delicious treats and holiday stories at Mrs. Santa’s Bookshoppe. Santa will make his grand arrival at 4 p.m. on a bright red fire truck to visit with children and hear their holiday wishes. Parents are welcome to bring a camera or opt for a professional photo available for a small fee.

On-stage entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with community and school choirs, followed by the annual Mayor’s sing-along at 6:30 p.m., and the countdown to the tree-lighting. Carriage rides will also be offered for a nominal fee, sponsored by the Todos Santos Business Association.

Free parking: Todos Santos Plaza offers free parking in two municipal garages. The Grant Street Garage entrance is on Salvio Street between Grant and Colfax streets. The Todos Santos Parking Center entrance is on Salvio Street between Galindo and Mt. Diablo streets.
