The Concord community is invited to attend a workshop on the proposed Fiscal Years 2019-20 and 2020-21 Operating Budget, which will be held on Tuesday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber located at 1950 Parkside Drive.
The workshop will be conducted informally with presentations by key management staff. The purpose is to present a proposed operating budget and for the City Council to ask related questions, provide input, and give staff further direction.
Members of the public will be given time to address the Council. A copy of all the materials provided to the Council will be available online at www.cityofconcord.org on Friday, May 10, after 5:00 p.m.
In addition to the Budget Workshop scheduled for May 14, a public hearing is scheduled on Tuesday, June 11 for consideration of the two-year Operating Budget. The public hearing will be at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard) in the City Council Chamber.
Residents are encouraged to participate in these public meetings to provide input. If you cannot attend one of these meetings, please submit your comments, suggestions and service priorities through this Community Feedback form. The City will continue to gather feedback about residents' priorities and maintaining fiscal stability in the coming months.
