Senior Center Events

  1. Elder Abuse Awareness Fair

    June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. The Elder Abuse Prevention Project (EAPP) partners are hosting an Elder Abuse Awareness Fair to raise awareness about elder abuse and to provide resources to adults 60 years and older. At the fair, community members can connect with EAPP partners including the Contra Costa Family Justice Center, Adult Protective Services, Contra Costa Senior Legal Services, Contra Costa District Attorney’s Victim Assistance Program, Meals on Wheels Diablo Region, Contra Costa Behavioral Health, and Empowered Aging. There will also be resource tables by La Clinica, NAMI, Diablo Valley Foundation for the Aging, and Contra Costa Employment and Human Services. We welcome all community members to this informative event.
