About the Park
Lime Ridge Open Space is 175 acres northwest of Treat Boulevard, in the area between San Miguel and Cowell Roads. Primary access is from a parking lot off of Treat Boulevard.

Improvements completed in 1993 include:

- Trails linked to a regional network
- View areas
Extensive plantings of native oaks, grasses and wildflowers will restore the natural oak/savanna grassland, increasing the diversity and abundance of wildlife. Over 1,200 acres of pristine open space and 25 miles of trails are held jointly by the cities of Concord and Walnut Creek.
